What can students expect from your classes?
Since 2011, I have been offering workshops, courses and global retreats in addition to private and group classes. I am a yoga teacher mentor and yoga teacher trainer specializing in yoga postures, sequencing and the business of teaching yoga.
My teachings centre around a few major themes: self-compassion, anatomy-informed sequencing, cultivation of strength, celebrating diversity and curiosity with what’s possible. All of these qualities are taught with big doses of kindness and humour.
About Me
I live in Vancouver, B.C. with my wife, Christa and our two cats, Piccolo and Pipa. I have a deep love for composting, rereading Harry Potter and being in any body of water. If I could live off of one food for the rest of my life without consequences it would be ice cream.

What can students expect from your classes?
I love to build creative sequences that are both dynamic and soothing – allowing my students to leave the space feeling revigorated. Intuitive and inspired, every one of my classes is built with presence and acceptance as the foundation and movement and breath as the medicine.
About Me
As a Hatha, Vinyasa and Power Yoga teacher, my goal has always been to share my passion for body and mind wellness through the wisdom of Yoga and all that it encompasses. I have done 400h of training with Yoga Sangha in Montreal and have taught classes and workshops in both Montreal and Vancouver.

What should students expect from your classes?
To be challenged and held in an engaging, warm space.
About Me
Gathering in open spaces for movement-based practices is my happy place; I’ve studied lots of things in those places like dance, rhythmic gymnastics, musical theatre, group fitness, and yoga.
I began with independent study in India then completed the 200 hr Teacher Training and hot training at YYOGA. I’ve also taken a variety of fitness module trainings like yoga/pilates fusion and dance-inspired movement programs.
My personal practice and my work as a teacher challenge me to deepen my relationship to myself, others, and natural world. My classes aim to be spaces where others can do the same because I believe that those experiences can be transformative and life giving:
- Meeting in open spaces
- Engaging in practice
- Bearing witness to one another
- Allowing those experience to change us
See you in class!

About Me
I took my first yoga class at the age of 14 with Jasmina Egeler and have been coming back to the practice ever since. I completed my 200hr and Hot trainings with YYoga, and have been lucky enough to be a part of this community for a long time. I have a background in ocean diving and I am always surprised by how the tools I’ve learned through that, like breath-work and pushing through discomfort in a way that feels safe, translate really well into the movement we do on the mat. I like alignment-based strong, yet accessible classes that have stability and fluidity embedded in them.

About Me
I’ve been teaching various styles of Yoga since 2002- from Power, Anusara Inspired, and Ashtanga Vinyasa, to Hatha, Yin and Restorative. My classes are opportunities to cultivate a deeper awareness and sense of belonging in our bodies, minds, and communities. I love to create non-intimidating spaces for all bodies to feel comfortable to be themselves, without judgement. I aim to offer therapeutic embodiment experiences that meet students where they are, and empower them to do what feels best for them from moment to moment. I’m passionate about helping fitness and movement spaces be more inclusive and accessible, offering a variety of choice-based options to meet individual needs. We will use conscious breath, mindful movement, and deep stillness to explore the human experience together.

What can students expect from your class?
My classes are focused on effective movement and strengthening for all levels and all bodies. Expect a full body workout with an emphasis on core, alignment and precise muscle activation.
About Me
I’m Shawna (she/her). A lifelong athlete and teacher, I was inspired to start my journey in Pilates 6 years ago as a means of recovery after experiencing a chronic back injury. Coming from a science background, I quickly began learning all I could about Pilates and mindful movement for injury recuperation. And, naturally, began to share everything I learned with anyone who would listen. Today, I spend most of my day in motion, sharing my passion for effective movement with healthy and injured bodies alike. I teach with a focus on fun, accessible movement in a style that is grounded in my STOTT pilates training, while also incorporating elements of clinical pilates, yoga, functional fitness and the new things I learn every day about how to keep your body moving happily.

What can students expect from your class?
A welcoming and inclusive space to come as you are.
About Me
I enrolled in my first Hatha yoga teacher training in 2009, under Ph.D Yogrishi Vishvketu through ashram residency in Rishikesh, India. In 2012, I completed a 300-hour teacher training with a focus in Vinyasa and Restorative yoga under Rachel Hull in Bali, Indonesia. For the next four years I taught yoga and continued my studies throughout Asia (India, Indonesia, China, Thailand) and the Americas (Peru, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico) before finally returning to Vancouver, BC in 2015 to complete my education as a registered acupuncturist. I am inspired by the intelligence of nature and the traditions of our ancestors, and coming together to practice our highest intentions. I love to share with students the profound effect that a daily yoga practice can bring – from focus, to strength, to inner peace.

What should students expect from your class?
My classes are contemporary Pilates set to a music driven tempo. I love using music to set the tone and intention of class, which helps drive focus and energy. Expect to work the entire body, lots of core, standing work and a solid burn to leave you feeling energized.
About Me
My background in fitness started a long time ago as a competitive synchronized swimmer. I have always loved fitness and sport, so it seemed like a natural progression to move into becoming a Pilates Instructor. My journey into teaching fitness started in 2018 with a Barre certification, which then progressed into many more Barre trainings and eventually moving into Pilates (officially) in 2022. In 2023, I completed my certification with Stott Pilates in Reformer and Mat.

About Me
My yoga journey started in 2005 with Bikram’s 26&2 hot yoga. I knew right away the practice had deep impacts on the body, mind, and soul.
I have trained and gained certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Hot, and Ashtanga yoga, as well as getting certified as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I also studied holistic nutrition and herbal medicine. I took advanced training most recently with the Ghosh Yoga organization in the traditional Bishnu C. Ghosh lineage.
I teach mostly powerful flows, designed to bring each practitioner to their own edge, not too much, not too little. I include functional range and mobility movements in my classes. You will also catch me teach yin, hot and other styles from time to time. Students can expect both their body and their mind to be brought into focus.
My main goal is to share tools and techniques in the yoga tradition, and to guide students towards their own inner potential to heal and be at peace.
