We have two ways for you to flow from home, depending on how you like to practice.
Check out our YYOGA at Home page or the Virtual Classes section below for more information on the two ways you can practice with us from home.
We recommend wearing workout clothes you can stretch and move in. For YHot and Power classes, wear something you’ll be comfortable sweating in.
You will require a mat for all classes. We also recommend you bring a mat towel and/or bath towel for any heated classes, or if you just find you get extra sweaty during your practice. If you don’t have your own, or forget them, mats & towels are available to rent from the studio for a fee.
Props are available for select classes. You can also bring your own or purchase them from our boutique.
Health & Safety
Wearing a mask throughout the studio & during practice is optional. Guests who prefer to wear a mask during their visit or their practice are encouraged and supported to do so.
No. Provincial public health guidelines no longer require proof of vaccination to attend group fitness classes.
Studio room floors are cleaned after each class and disinfected throughout the day. Shared items and high touch areas, like props, switches, handles, faucets and countertops are disinfected several times a day. Changing rooms and other common areas of the studio are cleaned regularly after guest use and disinfected throughout the day. We use a hospital grade disinfectant that is known to kill viruses like COVID-19.
- We have a full schedule including heated & high intensity classes. Advanced registration is required for all classes.
- Changing rooms, lockers, showers & water taps are available for use. Please be mindful of others and give fellow yogis a little extra space.
- Mat & towel rentals are available for a fee.
- Props are available for select classes. You can also bring your own or purchase them from our boutique.
- Saunas, lounges, retail boutiques and other common areas are open.
General Questions
We understand that sometimes things happen that are out of your control. Out of respect for everyone in the studio, we start classes right on time and do not allow guests to enter class late as this disrupts other students and the teacher. The front doors are locked between classes and are unlocked 10 minutes before class begins to allow our team to focus on cleaning. If you arrive late, the entry door may be locked.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in and ensure you have time to get into class. We are punctual about class start times and firmly uphold this policy.
If you are dealing with an extenuating circumstance that has impacted your ability to attend class, please cancel with as much notice as possible and then reach out to us through our Contact Us form.
If you do arrive after class has started, our Reservation Policy applies:
- If you are on a Class Pack or a drop-in, your class will be deducted from your account.
- If you are on an unlimited membership, a $10 (+ tax) fee will be charged to your credit card on file.
First, please make sure that you have been cleared by your doctor to practice yoga.
Although yoga is beneficial for healing, note that some styles are quite vigorous and may not be ideal for when you’re first coming back. We recommend starting off with gentle, slower-paced classes such as Gentle Hatha, Hatha, or Restorative. Yin may be a good choice so long as your injury is not joint-related. YHot can be a good option if you can safely practice in the heat.
The minimum age to attend any class style WITH a parent/legal guardian present is age 12.
The minimum age to attend any class style WITHOUT a parent/legal guardian present is 15. However, if you are under the age of 19, please have a parent or legal guardian review and sign the electronic waiver when you create your online account. You can practice on your own once you have a waiver signed by your parent/guardian.

Yoga Teacher Training
The program cost includes your non-refundable registration fee, tuition, training manuals, and a Class Pack for the duration of your training. Books are sold separately. Check out our Teacher Training page to get all the details!
It varies depending on the format. Due to COVID, we’re currently running our trainings virtually with a max capacity of 32 students.
We regularly offer info sessions 6-8 weeks before the start of the training. The best thing to do is to sign up to be alerted of when they’re running (either virtually or in person).
In order to complete a training you must attend all scheduled classes and complete all required coursework.
Attendance for scheduled classes is mandatory. However, we understand that there may be exceptional circumstances where you are unable to attend class. In these situations, we allow you to make up for the missed class time to complete the training with two options:
1) Take a private session with the trainer. Private sessions cost $150+tax per hour, and a 1 hour private session is equivalent to 4 hours of in-class time. Therefore missing a full day (8 hours) would require 2 hours of private sessions. You may partner up with other students who missed those same days to split the cost of the private sessions. Private sessions must be paid for before the session occurs. (Recommended option)
2) Take the missed days in a subsequent teacher training for free, space permitting. Please note that our trainings may fill up, in which case, you will not be able to attend the required class to make up for missed time.
Certificates are issued after all training days are completed.
Students must understand English and be capable of physically participating in the program for which they are applying. While we expect all practitioners to have a thoughtful practice, you do not need to be able to perform complicated asana to take the program. A commitment to your practice is all that you need. If you are working with an injury, please contact us to discuss your options as this may not be a barrier to your experience.
The minimum age to attend the training is 17 years old but you must have a legal guardian’s permission.
We welcome students of all levels at our teacher trainings! Veteran students will dive deeper into their own practice, and newer students will establish a solid foundation in their own skills.
The 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training can be paid in full up-front or by module (there are 3 modules). If you choose to pay per module, payment must be made before the start of each module. Check out the “Investment” portion of our Teacher Training page to learn more.
Students receive a class pack to any YYOGA studio during their training for the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and YHot programs. These free classes begin on the first day of each training program. If the training is running virtually, students receive a YYOGA at Home subscription for live and pre-recorded classes.
Your YYOGA membership will be placed on hold during this time. This hold will not affect your regular hold time.
*(Mat and towel service not included).
If YYOGA cancels the program for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
- If you withdraw before the start of the training, you will receive a full refund minus your registration fee.
- If you withdraw before 50% of the program or module is complete, you will receive a 50% refund of payment.
- If you withdraw after 50% of the program or module is complete, no payment refund will be issued.
- You must withdraw in writing.
The non-refundable registration fee is included in the program cost:
- 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training module and YHot: $150
Yes! YYOGA will issue a T2202a tax receipt for the following programs:
- 200-Hour Intensive Program (all 3 Modules)
- 200-Hour Wednesdays and Weekends Program
- Mentorship Program
Check out the “Investment” tab on our Teacher Training page to get all the details!
If there is an adequate amount of registrants, we offer a work study position. In exchange for assisting in logistics and attendance, the In-Training Assistant receives a 20% discount on the program cost. Applications may be submitted once the applicant has enrolled in the program. Please click HERE for the application form.
