I source inspiration from a place of humbled curiosity, having bared witness to the way my own practice has evolved over time. I seek to offer classes that are alignment focused, challenging, and accessible to all body types and levels of flexibility. My classes are artfully accompanied by playlists I construct to help students fall into a deeper connection with their own body, so we are able to drop out of the mind to find the integral link between breath and movement.

I have been teaching classes for 25 years, after being a Fitness/Dance instructor for more than 10 years, I started practicing Yoga & Pilates, In a way I wanted to find balance in my body and mind. I am an eternal student. I love taking new courses and learning new things. Mixing Yoga/Pilates/Fitness/Dance makes my life full of excitement. In addition to being a yoga instructor, I am also a practising physiotherapist: in both these realms, the resilience and adaptability of the human body continue to inspire me daily. About Me
I went to my first yoga class in high school, in 2010. The experience was a very challenging one, yet, in a way, it felt like coming home. A year later, in 2011, I began teaching yoga. It has been a long journey of practice and learning since then, and on the way I have also received a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology and a Master’s of Physical Therapy. Today, I enjoy teaching yoga alongside practicing as a physiotherapist. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead people in movement, and I look forward to practicing with you!

I am a Yoga Alliance Certified 500 Hour E-RYT with over 1000 hours of additional training in yoga and other complimentary movement modalities. I have been teaching yoga for 13 years and joined the YYOGA Education faculty as a YHot teacher trainer 3 years ago. I am also a registered Professional Counsellor and a Certified Life Coach which adds depth to my yoga classes as I emphasize self-awareness and personal agency. With clear, simple cueing I will guide you through your practice and help you find your calm, grounded centre so you can step back into the world feeling refreshed, focused and alive.

About Me
I attended my first hot yoga class in fourth year university on a dare and was promptly hooked. Right away I started a 40-day challenge which inspired an early interest in teaching. In 2012, I completed a 200-hour training at the Absolute Yoga Academy in Koh Samui, Thailand, and began teaching hot yoga in Shanghai, China, where I was privileged to work with a diverse group of students and teachers from around the globe. Since those early days, I’ve taught a variety of yoga styles, from the traditional 26-posture hot yoga sequence and those developed by Absolute Yoga and YYOGA to freestyle flow, power, and deep stretch sequences. Personally what I enjoy is helping students find their “Aha!” moments—the small shifts in technique, alignment, or attitude that move them further into their practice on and off the mat.

About Me
I have always been enamoured with physical movement and felt empowered by its therapeutic benefits. It wasn’t until my early teenage years that I was first introduced to the Yoga Asana and it has forever changed the way I experience the world around me. I fell in love with the external expression of the practice, but also felt illuminated by its internal teachings. For many years, my passion for yoga, tempered by a background in strength training, has provided me a perfect, harmonious balance for body and mind.
I have studied psychology with a major in counselling, completed my 200-Hour, YHot, and Yin Teacher Training. While I currently teach in-studio and offer private lessons, I will forever be a student – sharing my knowledge is as much a step in my own learning experience as is it my students’.
In my classes, we integrate the physical experience into spiritual awareness by cultivating focus, reflection, and exploring areas of ourselves that may be unfamiliar. For the duration of class, it’s just you, your body, your breath, and nothing else. As an introvert, this practice is a time and place where I feel especially at home – it is my purpose as a teacher to make my students feel the same.

I had gone to some yoga in my teens and early twenties but it wasn’t until I came to my first class at Yyoga NSE in February 2009 that I was hooked. I didn’t realize that I was holding my breath a lot of my day and that was leading to anxiety. That was the beginning of a beautiful journey. Every time I get on my mat I feel like I’m home. In the summer of 2014 I decided to take my Teacher Training at Yyoga and started teaching soon after that. Yoga for me is so much more than just the physical practice and I encourage students to explore their practice in their own life.

About Me
There are many ways to move. I regard yoga as an empowering and transformative practice that should be available to everyone. We are constantly changing and as time passes, we have the opportunity to grow and learn. Yoga teaches us to be present and active as those changes take place and to be conscious participants in our own evolution.
One of the many things that yoga has taught me is that a few long slow breaths can help to calm the mind and body, making the very scary become less daunting. Through movement guided by breath, I have learnt how to live in a calmer more grounded place. By holding space for people in this way I hope that the yoga I am offering can empower and unite while allowing space and time to clear the mind and create ease in the body.
I did my 200 hour TT in Todos Santos, Mexico, took my hot training with Yyoga in 2012 then my 300 hour TT at the Vancouver School of Yoga. Along with the yoga I am also an artist, an art teacher and an avid cyclist.

My practice began 15 years ago. I was inspired to try yoga as a recuperation from a lingering shoulder injury. My experience during this time opened many new doors and eventually motivated me to pursue a career in yoga. Initially I took Sivananda Yoga and Yoga Nidra classes. My first teacher training in 2013 taught me the importance of commitment and dedication to daily practice. However, it was not until I took my first Power yoga class two years later that I realized power yoga was my true calling. To this day, you will find me most happy when I am on my mat and helping students reach their full potential.

I have been teaching Mat Pilates since 2006. I am also currently working on the Reformer, Cadillac and Chair with clients of different ages, strengths and abilities. I enjoy teaching small groups where I can pay attention to detail, with focus on alignment and breath. I am passionate about my clients becoming stronger while they regain mobility, ease of movement and confidence.
I am also certified in Yoga and Yin Yoga, and apply some of the stretching techniques to my teaching style. My classes offer props and modifications in order to create a more challenging workout, while at the same time being inclusive of a wide range of strengths and postural limitations.
