What should students expect from your class?
Expect a safe space to explore and play, as we connect to our body, mind and spirit.
About Me
I am a Physical Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Yoga Instructor in Richmond British Columbia. Empowering and helping others move is one of my biggest passions. My love for movement has always been two-fold – I love to move my own body, but I also love to watch others move.
I found yoga in 2010 and I never looked back. It started out as another “workout” and quickly transformed and expanded into all aspects of my life. The “Yin” quality of this practice, balanced out my “Yang”- dominant personality and lifestyle. The mat became my place of stability and gratitude. In 2015 I pursued my teacher training to share this powerful practice with others.
My classes are grounded on proper body alignment, stability, mind-muscle connection and motor control. My goal is to help students gain strength, mobility and balance as they connect physically and spiritually to their higher self.

A sweaty class with good vibes and lots of connection!
About Me
My name is Robyn, and I am truly honored to be here with you. My wellness journey truly began after some big life changes. I was in a challenging place and my mat was my safe space. I turned to yoga and really started to dig deep. I have learned so much about who I am and what I want to share with you. Life will not always be easy but when we prioritize our minds, bodies, and souls we unlock our full potential to rise. I cannot wait to sweat, connect and thrive with all of you.

Expect to feel nourished, relaxed and to laugh a little.
About Me
I was drawn to Yoga for its ability to calm my mind, reduce anxiety and inspire living in the moment. I credit Yoga for connecting my body and mind, and for teaching me how to breathe through even the most challenging situations.
YHot is my favourite yoga practice as it allows for a deep release while building strength and stamina. My classes focus on promoting strength, and emphasizing sensation. I create a safe space in my classes, my goal being to make every student feel welcome, supported and included.

What should students expect from your class?
A well themed and intelligently sequenced class to meet the underlying intention and tone of the day. My classes are full breath awareness and freedom in movement with attention to safe and individual alignment. You’ll leave class feeling energized, renewed, and inspired to take the “yoga” off your mat and with you into your day.
About Me
With an original background in dance and theatre, I first came to yoga to find another form of expression through my body. I immediately fell in love with the endless possibilities not only to expand the body but also the mind. Yoga carries me to a place where I can feel fully connected in body, mind and spirit.
I have been guiding and mentoring students through my teaching for over 15 years and I am forever grateful to the many teachers and students who have inspired me along the way. I am a RYT-500 and ERYT-500 teacher and have been co-leading teacher trainings for a decade. I teach inspiring classes full of breath awareness, curiosity in movement and attention to alignment in the body, in both Vinyasa Power Flow and Hatha style classes.
I am always seeking to learn and discover more through master teachers such as Janet Stone, Max Strom, Rod Stryker, and more. I am currently studying positive psychology through the Flourishing Center to deepen my emotional support to students, the community, and my family.

What should students expect from your class?
My classes are challenging and mindful, at the same time, grounding and playful. Think island vibes vibes!
About Me
I am a passionate yoga teacher and student from the Philippines!
Love at first class – that was what I felt after a flow class that I took more than a decade ago. I was drawn to the challenge and sense of calm that the practice gave me. The desire to deepen my practice led to a teacher training in 2012 which ignited the calling to share my yoga to the community. I completed my 500-hr certification with YogaWorks in NYC and I have been teaching ever since. My inspirations and mentors are David Kim, Heather Seagraves, Bernie Clarke, Rachel Scott, and Jasmina Egeler. My passion led me to co-own a yoga studio in the Philippines and teach in New York, Saigon and Vancouver. I am trained in Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin. As an island girl, I very much enjoy Stand-up Paddle Yoga!
I am also a plant-based Holistic Nutritionist, a Reiki practitioner, and on my way to becoming a Life Coach. I co-founded Ubuntu Festival – a movement that promotes wellness and mindfulness through yoga, plant-based food, and music.
When not on the mat, you’ll find me whipping up vegan treats while dancing to some cool tunes, or reading a self-exploration book.

What should students expect from your class?
A juicy hour of articulated movement of the spine and joints with fiery and sneaky work to build vitality and reset bio-mechanically, and a great playlist.
About Me
I’m Christine, and my pronouns are she/her. I love music and singing and dancing and I love to collect things and thoughts that confuse me. I’m a teacher of movement classes that are trauma-informed, strengths-based, and open to all bodies and gender presentations. I teach with warmth in a style that is grounded in pilates but also incorporates yoga, dance, mindfulness, and some other modalities that I’ve studied along the way. I am a life-long student of movement and my practice for me is a source of mental focus and agency, grounding and clearing, connection and aliveness.

What should students expect from your class?
An empowering experience through a flow of asanas with alignment cues and deliberated breaths that connects you to your body.
About Me
My yoga journey started in 2013 with SivanandaYoga, Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions. I decided to pursue my passion for yoga, so I attended Yoga teacher training in 2017 followed by another training in Ashtanga Assisting School in Toronto. Meanwhile, I was studying fitness and health promotion to learn more about anatomy and body movements that I could integrate into my yoga sequences and teaching.
I have learned about our body and its amazing abilities through Yoga. It taught me that transformation is a journey that should be taken slowly and mindfully. While practice and consistency is essential to make progress, being fully present in the moment is the key. It was a turning point in my life when I realized this. My passion is to design sequences of yoga asanas while considering fitness principles. In practice, I use verbal cues to focus on body alignment, gazing points and mindful breathing. Challenging yoga movements have uncovered my deep emotions which led to moments of relief. The body and mind are phenomenally connected and I try to deepen this connection in my teaching.

What should students expect from your class?
Students can expect both physically challenging and emotionally relaxing class for their minds with lots of breath.
About Me
I was born and grew up in Japan. I started my yoga practice in 2003 when I was struggling to control my stress due to the hard work pace as an accountant in Tokyo. I found peace of mind through deep breathing during my yoga practice. I moved to Vancouver in 2010 with my Canadian partner who I met in Tokyo.
I finished the RYT 200 hour training at YYOGA college in 2011. I have taught over a thousand classes in Vancouver, Japan, and online since 2012. In my classes, I give several modifications so participants can choose postures that they can comfortably connect with their breath. My teaching goal is to guide classes that welcome everyone to find comfort and relaxation through deep breaths, stretching, and strengthening of their muscles. I believe that through my class, my wish is for everyone to be happier and healthier people, and connect with themselves and with others.

What should students expect from your class?
An alignment-based class, a place to explore, seek your edge, have fun, be quiet, whatever your body needs in the moment.
About Me
My yoga practice began a decade ago when I decided to drop into my local YMCA for a yoga class to help mend my hips after 25 years of running. I was gifted to land in a yin class with an amazing teacher, who I followed from that class to her vinyasa class and from to studio to studio. What began as a way to support my running has morphed into a way to support all aspects of my life, and that’s why I wanted to share this amazing practice with others. Since discovering yoga, I am a perpetual student of movement and the human body, currently working through a Kinesiology diploma and getting certified in the Functional Movement Screen, and taking anatomy and movement training whenever I can. That shows up in my teaching in a focus on alignment, in curiosity and intention, and encouraging students to find strength, stillness, or openness they didn’t know they had.

What should students expect from your class?
A mindful practice, that encourages curiosity in exploring the body, mind and soul.
About Me
I have always been motivated by learning tools I can use to better support others and as a qualified social worker, working with individuals, families, and communities to explore trauma and reduce inequality. I first tried yoga purely to increase my strength and flexibility, not realizing the life-enhancing journey it would lead me on. Being naturally energetic, I surprised myself with being drawn to the quiet and contemplative practices of Hatha and Yin. This increased my awareness of emotional responses within the body and led me to also train in dance and movement psychotherapy. Striving for authenticity, I completed my first yoga teacher training living with a family in a small town in India. Having yoga passed down to me as it had been passed down to them.
I am a Ghanaian-Brit based globally who has the pleasure of connecting and sharing my practices with communities all over the world.

What should students expect from your class?
Expect a steady and easy to follow vinyasa flow appropriate for all levels. This is a great class for those who are new to yoga, flow or power. Experienced practitioners will appreciate the opportunities to add on.
About Me
I teach yoga and high school math in Vancouver. I’ve practiced and studied both subjects for a long time and love to teach them to others. You may be surprised to learn that yoga and math are similar from an education perspective. Both subjects use repetition and progressions for deeper understanding, opportunities, and applications. My cues are chosen to help you feel stable in your poses so you can experience freedom and a sense of spaciousness. I use clear language so beginners always know what to do and continuing students can drop into their practices. My class is breath-centered and uses gaze and concentration. My playlist is selected to keep you feeling relaxed and supported.
I enjoy early morning practice, coffee, long walks, vegetarian cooking, and Ashtanga Vinyasa. I’m inspired by the teachings of Michael Stone and Alan Watts. I’m very interested in the philosophy of non-dualism. I’m appreciative of all my teachers including Clara Roberts-Oss for teaching me sequencing, Michelle Young for teaching me Subtle Bodies, and Fiona Stang for holding space for me in the Mysore room. I’m 500hr RYT certified with an additional 100hr training in vinyasa sequencing (Prana Flow Wave Theory).
