Erica's practice and teaching flows out of her belief that yoga is a sacred space entered into through breath and awareness; a moving meditation of opening, cleansing and healing the mind, body and spirit. Through yoga, Erica has found connection to breath and self expanding vision, through clear, focused intention, while daily letting go of fear and ego. Yoga continues to lead Erica to find center, strength, flexibility and peace.
Erica's background in dance, love for yoga and natural compulsion to share her knowledge was a powerful catalyst that fueled her desire to teach yoga. She completed her 200 HR YTT at YYOGA with Rachel Scott, Jasmine Eagler and Mari Dickey. She then went on to complete her YHOT training with Hillary Keegan, Alex Atherton and Lisa Sanson. She will always be grateful for these amazing yogis and the teaching they have passed on to her and will echo their knowledge and wisdom in her teaching.
What should students expect from your class? Expect to be challenged as Erica emphasizes breath and alignment to create a safe place for you to explore the mind-body connection and playfully make shapes with your body.
