About Me

I began teaching Hatha and Power Yoga in Vancouver in 1999. I studied back bending and additional yoga practices in India from 2004-2006. In 2005-2007 I continued my studies learning Zen Meditation and Yin Yoga. “When you do yoga, yoga will do you”…the physical practice of yoga opened me up, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and led me to study and find my other work I do in the world which is The Emotion Code – work surrounding trauma, anxiety, loss and any other emotional issues. Bio Energy Healing, releasing energy blockages from the body that cause physical, mental or emotional pain and most recently Yoga Nidra, a relaxation technique that provides the body with deep rest and healing. In my Yin Yoga classes I teach from the perspective of median theory, TCM teachings. When possible I teach yoga retreats around the world. I love having fun in my classes and I am currently writing my first book, which is a collection of daily spiritual practices that have cultivated a level of happiness and joy in my life, I never knew could be possible.
