About Ali:
I’ve been practicing yoga for a decade and have a deep love and reverence for the Yogic path. I’ve had the privilege to teach yoga locally and abroad for the past eight years and have a background in trauma-informed mental health work. I believe that yoga, breath-work and meditation are profound tools to aid us in balancing the nervous system and cultivating a strong relationship between our minds, bodies and spirits. With devoted practice, we can transform inner blockages to align with the transformative strength, wisdom and self-healing that we all innately possess. My intention is to assist you to carve out the space and time to develop a deep sense of listening and presence that will support and carry you throughout your life.”

What should students expect from your classes?
A dynamic, fluid and grounded practice that remains tethered to the breath and anatomically based alignment. Students are encouraged to make the practice their own and find the freedom to authentically express themselves and find release. I weave in layers of depth by leading a class that honours the historical lineage of yoga and principles of philosophy, psychology and mysticism through precise and poignant language.
