What should students expect from your class?
Get out of your head and into your body! Improve your flexibility, strength and endurance through mindful movements and conscious breath.
About Me
As an enthusiastic contemporary Certified Pilates Instructor, and Hatha and restorative trained Yoga Teacher, I am passionate about sharing the importance of connecting mindful movement with conscious breath in a playful, creative and practical way that offsets the daily hustle.
I originally started practicing yoga 20 years ago as a means to burn calories and tone muscles, but I quickly experienced the power it had on calming my active mind. I noticed a shift in the way that I felt. Instead of pushing myself to exercise harder, I became friends with my body. And, for the first time, I was encouraged to LISTEN.
In an effort to deepen my practice, I signed up and completed a 200-hour certification. My approach to movement is supportive and light-hearted with the intention of guiding students through a journey and helping them find a connection between their mind, body and breath. I am known for curating intelligent sequences with an awesome playlist while inspiring participants to challenge their strength and balance. With a trauma-informed approach, I create a safe environment where people can surrender into a state of physical relaxation to let go of mental clutter and self-judgment.
