Join us on the mat to celebrate Earth Day and raise funds for Earthwise Society, a local non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating sustainable communities. Through a long and varied history of educational projects and policy initiatives, Earthwise Society has been a leader in environmental education and sustainability initiatives for over 40 years. 100% of class proceeds will be donated. Donations begin at $10 with $20, $30, or $50 options as well.

Class theme: “Salt of the Earth” led by Sandra Stephanson.

Expect genuine grounding with yin yoga and meditation. A tribute to being tethered to this earthly body, while stretching to the sounds of nature. All levels welcome.

Earthwise Society, a not-for-profit charitable organization, is a public demonstration garden and organic teaching farm located in Tsawwassen. Through workshops and educational programs, we target food security, therapeutic horticulture, and the protection of urban habitat. Our programs promote sustainable gardening, improve food literacy, and provide a chance to connect with nature and improve wellbeing. Partnering with community organizations, we distribute thousands of pounds of fresh, local produce each year to help at-risk populations make healthy food choices.
