Help Us Give Back this Orange Shirt Day

100% of sales from Single Class purchases on Monday, September 30th will be donated to Orange Shirt Society.

On September 30th when you purchase a Single Class your practice will be in support of Indian Residential School Reconciliation and promoting the truth that EVERY CHILD MATTERS.

Orange Shirt Society is a non-profit organization formed in Williams Lake by the founders of Orange Shirt Day to encourage and support communities to recognize Orange Shirt Day and to support reconciliation events and activities. Their goal is to create awareness of the individual, family, and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools through Orange Shirt Day activities, and to promote the concept of “Every Child Matters”.

The Orange Shirt Day movement was created by Phyllis Webstad, a residential school survivor, to commemorate the residential school experience. By wearing an orange shirt on September 30th, you commit to the enduring truth that EVERY CHILD MATTERS, every day and everywhere. This day is about honouring the survivors and reminding them that their stories matter.
