Ever curious and passionate about the many ways we express ourselves, Stephanie brings her love of language to the mat. Stephanie holds a BA in English Literature and was drawn to the practice of yoga for its delicate blend of poetic space, language, and metaphor, in relationship to the body and movement.
Stephanie is constantly inspired by the details and refinement in sound, speech, and touch, that shape her practice. She came to yoga as a means to break through obstacles and release the creative flow she believes everyone carries inside.
Stephanie’s teachers include Clara Roberts-Oss, Carolyn Budgell, and Christine Price Clark. She takes inspiration from Ana Forrest and Schuyler Grant. Students may be treated to sequencing intended to stretch and strengthen the body, gently-guided alignment, and philosophical prompts intended to provoke a curiosity of and within the self.
What can students expect from your class? Stephanie teaches vinyasa yoga that is equally playful and challenging. Her classes are sweaty, smooth flowing, and stimulating, with asana and pranayama that encourages students to challenge their physical practice and the perception of self.
