What should students expect from your class?
Breath work, creative sequencing, a touch of humor and challenging flows with good music.
I have a passion for movement and a strong background in all things fitness growing up as a dancer. I started assisting classes from a very young age and started teaching dance at the age of 14.
I discovered and immersed myself in yoga 10 years ago to help heal injuries after years of dance. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I backpacked around the world for 5 years visiting over 30 countries and counting before moving to Vancouver to complete my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training from the Vancouver School of Yoga. Since moving to Vancouver I have also taken my Barre, Yin, Teen Yoga, Restorative and Yoga Therapy training. I currently work as a freelance teacher around the city as well as teaching both private and public online classes.
My previous experience as a dancer and dance teacher has given me a deep understanding of the body and alignment, which I weave into my teachings with humour and positive vibes. Music plays a big role in all of my offerings so expect some good tunes to keep you motivated and moving.
