What should students expect from your class?

Fluid sequencing rooted in detailed alignment, complimented with image-based ideas that will allow you to express through movement.

About Me

I have been teaching yoga for nearly a decade and am extremely passionate about spreading the language of movement. I have worked professionally in the arts & entertainment field for the last 13 years and am currently a dance artist with contemporary company Ballet BC where I am humbled to perform the works of the world’s leading choreographers in concert dance. I also pursue my own choreographic projects and teach a variety of movement practices including Yoga.

I aim to share my passion and knowledge of movement with the community in various ways. Movement to me is an opportunity to integrate the body with imagination, to explore possibility, and ultimately it always represents a form of expression. I bring to my movement teaching philosophy a great curiosity in how and why we move each day. The belief that each time we move, there is meaning whether small or large. Movement connects us with ourselves and each other and therefore, I believe it matters deeply.
