Judy has always followed her heart and fell in love with yoga through curiosity. From studying yoga she found the practice can help heal whatever needs to be healed. In each class she strives to be fully present and open to clearly communicate what is most necessary for that moment. She is grateful for every student who has shown up, because each time she teaches she also learns. She feels lucky to have been blessed with a few classic teachers Dan Clement, Tina Pashumati James, Manju Pattabhi Joice amongst many other wonderful modern teachers. Like a fine wine Judy thinks this practice gets better with age. There are so many elements involved she could never get bored with learning more.
What can students expect from your class? Expect to unwind! My classes mix traditional roots of yoga to what is current. I like to move the body in a way that will release tension from the daily grind or athletics. I will throw in tidbits of yoga philosophy or make a joke... usually when you least expect it. I’ll make you laugh or at least smile. In the end I’ll leave you in a peaceful savasana with a finely tuned Om. You won’t regret coming to class.
