Jenn is a contemporary dance artist and teacher originally from Vancouver. She first fell in love with movement through competitive figure skating, and completed a BFA majoring in dance from Simon Fraser University in 2010. Since then she has taught ballet, modern, and creative dance to students of all ages. From 2013 to 2015, Jenn was based in Europe and toured with Vienna’s Flowmotion Dance Company through Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, London, Turkey, The Middle East, India, Brazil and Mexico. Back in Vancouver in 2016, she did her 200-hour Yoga teacher training with mentor Sasha Bahador, and in 2017 made the leap to Toronto. She is currently dancing with independent choreographers Jamee Valin and Patricia Alison, and skating with Le Patin Libre, a contemporary skating group based in Montreal, as well as teaching barre, Hatha, flow and fitness classes around Toronto. Jenn further fuels her creativity writing for Dance International Magazine and playing keyboards for The Inanimates, a local indie rock band.
