Emma grew up in Toronto and from a young age had many influences which sparked her interest in holistic healing. Though she was new to the world of movement, but it only took her first yoga class in 2011 to discover her passion of yoga/wellness. Her journey really began in 2013 and she immediately found herself volunteering/working with YYoga before completing the YYoga 200-hour training in July 2015. Since becoming certified, Emma has fully immersed herself by taking the YYoga Mentorship Program and various workshops throughout the city.
What should students expect from your class? Students should expect a fun and welcoming space where they feel safe to explore. I provide a playful and honest practice – encouraging students to try new things but also reflecting and honouring their own needs in the moment.
