What should students expect from your class?

Strong and creative sequences that build up to peak postures.

About Me

In 2006, I was motivated by my history of competitive figure skating & dance to explore a new form of movement: yoga. In 2009, I completed my 200 -hour teacher training with Chris Chavez and have been instructing around Vancouver ever since. I draw from my many varied experiences, taking the best from each to skillfully weave art into my teaching, with a rich and heartfelt voice. Raw and authentic – what I learned at the Randolph Academy of the Arts in Toronto – informs my teaching as a journey to the self. My classes are inspired by the teachings of Ana Forrest, Christina Sell, and Clara Roberts-Oss and consist of strong, creative sequences that build up to peak postures.

When I’m not on the mat, I can be found exploring nature with friends, dancing in my living room with my partner and son, and supporting birthing individuals as a certified Doula. I’m currently studying midwifery full time at UBC.
