Cecily began yoga after stumbling across the Jivamukti Yoga Center in New York City while on a break from her Professional Contemporary Dance Career. She spent the past 20 years exploring different lineages of yoga including Hot Yoga, Kundalini, Dharma, Ashtanga, Baptiste, Iyengar. She traveled around North America and practiced with many teachers studying and learnings styles that ground and compliment yoga on and off the mat. She has a strong personal practice that includes pranayama, a vigorous flow, and meditation.
What should students expect from your class? A grounding and uplifting practice that may open the mind and body. Space where you can feel open to doing what you need, from child’s pose to handstands. A close that will have you set intentions to bring into your day that has a lasting impact.
