What should students expect from your class?

My classes are alignment-based, heart-opening, mindful, and thought-provoking but mostly fun and always a little different each time.

About Me

I began teaching in 2013, first at a small local studio, then in several studios around town. I currently teach at NSE and online with my private students. I love actually TEACHING and will on occasion hold almost a mini-workshop as I break down some of the asana and the transitions into them. My classes are flowy, focus on breath/mind/body connection and are taught in a way that my cues are easy to follow. I’ve been told I bring an element of spirituality to my classes that is unique and thought-provoking, without being “too much”. Music adds to the vibe of my class and though I love to teach power and flow and hot, Hatha allows me to blend all the elements of the physical practice into something less structured – or specific, but rather I can be of service to those in my classes and honour what it is they need in that moment. And of course, there’s always a little fun added in!
