Shannon commenced her journey in 2002, learning the benefits of a Pilates lifestyle after sustaining low back injuries in a car accident. As a result, Shannon incorporated her passion for challenging movement and exercise with Pilates to help strengthen her core muscles. The result is that she hasn’t looked back since. Due to experiencing the benefits of Pilates firsthand, Shannon studied the classic methods of Mat, Reformer and Tower Pilates. After encouraging others to experience Pilates for themselves, together with a desire to further deepen her understanding of Pilates and to continue sharing it with others, Shannon became a BCRPA Registered Fitness Professional, certified in Pilates Fitness and Fitness Theory.
What should students expect from your class? A full body workout, for all levels, in a comfortable environment while focusing on stretching and sculpting the body, increasing flexibility and coordination, and strengthening the core muscles; all while having fun. Combined, this allows an opportunity for everyone to leave class feeling stronger, relaxed and revitalized.
