Johanna Ward is a Certified Fitness Trainer and Behaviour Change Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been teaching energizing group fitness classes for over 20 years. Johanna’s movement to music classes are fun and challenging, designed for all levels and abilities to reach their full potential. Based in a life belief that every moment and every movement matters, her fitness philosophy is simple and effective; find your IT factor, the thing that motivates you to move, and do IT. IT stands for inspired time and integrated training.
Her classes focus on core-stability, body awareness and efficient exercise design to maximize your training time. Her true motivation is to help others find balance, grace, and strength in fitness and in life. A lifestyle & fitness contributor to CTV Morning Live Vancouver, Johanna’s wellness advice has also been featured on the CBC, CKNW and in BC Living Magazine. A previous YWCA Women of Distinction Award nominee in Health & Wellness, she was also shortlisted nationally as a Top 3 canfitpro Fitness Instructor Specialist of the Year in 2016.
