Denise was first introduced to yoga in 2007 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and was pleasantly surprised to experience its benefits - improved focus and stress reduction, just to name a few. After a serious car accident in 2011, Denise used yoga as a therapeutic tool for her mind and body on her healing journey and is especially grateful for her teachers and their guidance.
Wanting to share her passion for yoga, Denise completed her 500 Hour Training in Nicaragua with Moksha Yoga, and deepened her studies through the 50 Hour Yin Yoga Training at YYoga with Ashley McEachern. As a believer that yoga can transform lives, Denise is grateful to be a part of the individual journeys of her students and to watch them grow in their practice.
Denise loves her pup, Rufus, and travelling. The two of them have traveled internationally together!
What should students expect from your class?
Students can expect deep relaxation amidst a focus on alignment and breath, modifications to help the pose work in their unique bodies, and hands on adjustments.
