By day Angela is a litigation lawyer and in almost every other spare moment in her life she is moving around challenging her body and mental strength. You can find Angela lifting weights at the gym, hiking the grouse grind, hanging off a pull up bar, playing ice hockey, trying out the latest ninja warrior course or holding her favourite pose, plank. Fitness and movement have inspired Angela since she was 15 when she started training at the gym and things evolved from there. Angela is ready to take on a challenge; the goal to get stronger, faster, healthier and ready for what life throws her way. Angela is constantly inspired by those around her and she strives to set a good example for those wanting to reach their goals. With certifications in yoga and TRX and working on her goal of teaching group fitness, you can expect Angela to challenge you, push your boundaries, make you laugh and make you feel like you have done something good for yourself. Angela loves to see students around her succeed, try new things, face their fears and grow. Believe it or not Angela also understands the need for recovery, because in all the sweat, muscle aches and plank holding there must be balance, hey even Wonder Woman needs a break to recharge.
What can students expect from your class?
I love to teach a class that is challenging, tests your limits and brings a smile to your face knowing you are steps closer to achieving your goals in health, fitness, and life. I am constantly inspired by those around me and it makes my day when I see students complete 10 push ups for the first time, hold plank for a minute, nail that crow pose they have been working on for months. I believe that fear is what holds us back, and when we let go of that fear the options to grow are endless. Come to play, sweat, laugh and face your fears.
