Virtual By-Donation Series

We’re very excited to announce our new monthly virtual by donation classes! These classes will be focused on fundraising and education and 100% of proceeds will benefit one of our non-profit partners.

At the heart of our social impact program, We Move Together, is the mission to create opportunities for all people to practice yoga, together -- and in this case, support local organizations and causes that our guests care about. This is one small way we are working to take active steps towards making the world a better place. Thank you for joining us in that mission.

We’ll be releasing this schedule in advance so can plan to both practice and support these important causes. For upcoming dates, please see below:

Twelve years ago YYOGA was founded with the intention of making the world a better place through the practice of yoga and with the power of mindfulness.

We believe having a place that allows you to disconnect and go inward, a place where you feel like you belong is more important than ever before. Fiercely protecting this has always been our goal — it’s why creating studio spaces where everyone is welcome has been so important to us.

We also believe that yoga and the communities that surround it have the power to change the world and that everyone deserves to live their healthiest, happiest and most fulfilled life.

At the heart of We Move Together is the mission to create opportunities for all people to practice yoga, together.

We believe there is power in community so we work with those within ours to extend our reach beyond our studios and create opportunities for those facing barriers to practice.

We also believe that when we move together, both on and off the mat, we’re stronger.

With the support of our community, we fund people, projects, organizations, help with cause awareness, and offer use of our physical space for people to come together for important conversations and in the spirit of inspiring real change. If you need a location partner, please contact us through our form below.

As we head into 2021 and this program grows, we look forward to updating you on the specific people, organizations, and groups that we are partnering with to activate We Move Together.

We gain inspiration and momentum by connecting with individuals and organizations already doing incredible work to create real change.

We work with the passionately curious, the change-makers, the challengers, the activists, the seekers, the guides, the enthusiastic and the genuine. It doesn’t matter to us if you’re powered by an organization (big or small) or the sweat of a single human working to do better.

What matters to us is that we work together to inspire conversations, practice listening, ignite passion, drive education and awareness and invite change around things that matter to our communities.

Our approach to supporting access to yoga is by partnering with individuals as well as grass roots and hyper local organizations and the change-makers that power them. Support varies depending on the needs of the partner.

In the past, we've donated studio space, funded teacher wages for classes both inside and outside our studios, coordinated and funded teachers for outdoor events, donated yoga mats, gathered goods donations, facilitated group fundraising, offered by donation classes, donated a % of sales, funded event tickets, and shared cause messages with our community in the spirit of active listening and awareness.

Current causes:

  • inclusivity and access to yoga
  • health — especially for women and those who have less access to services and support
  • mental health — including supporting vulnerable populations
  • at-risk, marginalized and/or under-resourced youth
  • the environment — we love our planet!

Due to COVID-19 impacts on our business, our studio's are temporarily closed and we are not currently able to accept donation or charitable requests.
