YYoga is a network of yoga studio and lifestyle centres committed to creating happier, healthier people connected to themselves and others. We are the largest corporately owned yoga company in Canada and currently operate ten centres with over 800 classes a week.

We are currently looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service, yoga, and building community to join our Guest Experience Team at the following YYoga locations: Downtown FlowKitsilanoSouth GranvilleWest Sixth, NeoWhistler, Park Royal, Highgate, Richmond, and Yaletown.  

Position Summary

The Guest Experience Team Member is responsible for delivering the YYoga guest service philosophy of Invite, Engage, Expand to all YYoga guests both in center and over the telephone, during their scheduled shifts. They will provide a consistently high level of customer service by focusing on each guest’s individual needs, proactively anticipating areas of concern and facilitating the smooth coordination of daily operations. In this way, they will ensure that their YYoga Center exceeds our guest’s expectations and delivers an amazing experience every time.

  • Previous customer service, hospitality or sales experience 
  • Strong customer service and listening skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person
  • Enthusiastic, personable and professional disposition
  • Passionate about wellness, fitness, yoga - a desire and ability to promote the YYoga brand and help us expand our community of loyal members
  • Strong time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to quickly and effectively resolve challenging guest situations
  • Strong computer skills - experience using MindBody Online an asset
  • Strong work ethic - ability to work in a fast paced work environment, both independently and as a part of a collaborative team
  • Adaptable and quick learner with a desire to develop new skills
  • Organized and detail Oriented
  • Ability to meet the specific and ongoing needs of the centre(s) operating schedules
  • First aid and/or CPR certificate an asset
  • Fluency in a 2nd language an asset
