ROLL YOUR TENSION AWAY
Body Rolling with Small Props
Sunday Sept 19, 2:00-4:00pm, $30 plus HST
Using a variety of props (balls, dowels, foam rollers and the floor) we will work on opening deep seated tension from the body to prevent injury and increase range of motion.
This system of simple directional movements opens the connective tissues that affect the relationship between our muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments. Creating space and length in your body allows you to find your natural alignment. This lets us shift away from negative tension holding patterns.
Regardless of your background and prior experience, this workshop will provide you practical tools to take home and enhance your existing practise.
ABOUT AMARI STARK
I enjoy anything that moves me…yoga, Pilates, martial arts , hiking, aerial silks you name it. A debilitating car crash that left me with chronic pain forced me to deepen my studies of movement. With a constant quest for better quality of life and a dedication to the importance of alignment, core and breath, I am now pain free and stronger than ever. My background is Sivananda yoga originally (where I was born and raised) morphing into, Pilates, Feldenchrist, Iyengar, Astanga, Vinyasa, capoiera and Gracie Jiu jitsu
