AN INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS
Cultivating your Inner Zen - Welcome to the Dark Side

Sunday October 17, 2:00-4:00pm, $30

Eastern philosophy represents the meditative, quiet, internal pensive energies as the dark side of the yin yang symbol.

We will explore this starting with a yin yoga practice to prepare the joints and the mind following with a brief discourse on benefits, principles and techniques of meditation.
We will learn a seated meditation and as a group will explore 'Kin Yin', a walking meditation.

ABOUT MEGAN JOHNSON
Megan studied zen mediation for 3 hours daily as part of an intensive two month program when she received her second yoga teacher training certification.  Since then she has had a regular home practice and gone on to take courses around the city in addition to having completed her first week long silent retreat with Sarah Powers.

From these studies she brings meditation rooted in both Buddhist and yogic traditions. Megan is open and warm in her approach and welcomes students of all levels of practice.
