What can students expect from your class? My classes reflect a love for sequencing and alignment, filled with detailed road maps into the body. I keep it down to earth and accessible to all by teaching multi-leveled classes with modifications for beginners and more complex variations for the well-seasoned practitioner. Students can expect clarity and precision in my cuing and nurturting support at all levels. In terms of style, students can expect the strength and challenge of Power, the alignment of Anusara with the flowing grace of Flow.
Why Yoga? I come to my mat to connect to a deep source within….to dance with my breath, & move with my community and realize our one-ness. I come to my mat to fully inhabit my body, to know it intimately and keep learning from it. I practice for the space it creates inside, the space to be quiet and yet full... to explore my love of alignment…to find strength and stability and from there to expand into greater freedom.
Inspirations: My children’s smiles, the magnificence of trees, emotionally-evocative music, people who wear hats, home-made stuff, snow-capped mountains, groovy beats to dance to in my living room, fresh nutri-licious food, self-propelled transportation, and witnessing on a daily basis, the growth and transformation of my students.
