Since moving to Vancouver in 2003, yoga has given me tremendous benefits and experiences. It's what I get up for in the morning. That, and a delicious cup of tea. It brings energy, health and peace, which I believe are the foundations of a happy life. With regular asana practice, I've learnt to understand my body better. In my Yin class, I aim to provide a safe setting for deep exploration, using slow movements to develop better patience and insight to the subtleties and how the body works. For Hot, I like to keep the room vibrant and light, with graceful moves through each posture to discover how fluidity in movement and breath can bring energy to each pose. I encourage all students to practice with compassion and a good attitude as they grow. Be playful. Have fun. The simplest way to excel is to bring joy into your practice.
