I teach primarily Hot and Power yoga. In my Hot classes, I like my students to break a sweat, to really detox their systems. In my Power classes, I like a lot of flow between poses to move the energy in the body. Powerful quotes, poetry, nature, and people are a source of inspiration for my classes. My hope is that my students can find what they need on the mat to help them create more balance in their lives. It may require working really hard, or being more compassionate and gentle. I've been practicing for over eight years and teaching for over four. The more I practice, the more interesting yoga becomes for me. I love teaching because I feel I'm passing on something that has been a powerful agent of change in my own life. When I'm not on my mat, I'm pursuing my other passions: acting and writing. Namaste.
