I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga in a dedicated fashion since 1998. When I started I had a tight and abused body, a domineering mind and a suffocating heart.  Now my heart is free of my mind, which has opened and my body as a result is light and flexible.  Yoga worked.  I hope to share the practices and philosophies that I was taught by my teachers that worked for me.  My classes will focus on teaching the basics in a way that will challenge students and teachers alike. We will do lots of sun salutations to get you warm and lots of standing poses to make you strong and flexible.  In my practice I have dealt with, healed, and helped others to heal injuries to wrists, elbows, shoulders, ankles, knees, necks and low backs.
