I have made a promise to my teacher and mentor, Ana Forrest. She asked me and her other teachers throughout the world to help her in her life's work. The commitment she has made to her people, us, and the world, is that through our work we can help the people to re-connect to themselves and their environment. I teach Forrest Yoga, this style draws from a background of classical Hatha yoga and Vinyasa styles. So in my class we can go from the calmest of yin poses to the most heated, energetic Yang postures. I always teach with a focus, and each posture will prepare you for what comes next. In my class I will invite you do go a little deaper in your body and challenge yourself physically, mentally and emotionally. I will ask you to breath into your stuck or dark damaged areas, and invite healing energy and lightness into your whole body and spirit. This year I will be working closely with senior terachers from my lineage to hone my teaching and develop a stronger personal practice also. See you in class, and be ready to try something new!
