ESL Yoga: Yoga for students with English as their second language

Do you ever go to yoga and wonder about the English meaning of ‘tailbone’ and ‘inner arch of your foot’? This class is for you! Join Martina Schneider in this yoga class for all levels where you will study the vocabulary of body parts and instructions used by yoga teachers. You will deepen your understanding of your yoga practice and improve your English! 

Classes run every Thursday beginning January 7, from 2:30-3:30pm at Flow Wellness.

Taught by Martina Schneider
Martina is a BC certified High School teacher, translator and Yoga instructor who loves language and movement. Having taught English and ESL in the UK, Japan and Canada for 4.5 years, she is passionate about how language creates community across cultures. Through her training in Anusara Yoga® Martina has been inspired to teach alignment, focus on a practical approach to Yoga philosophy and cultivate a strong sense of community among her students. As a Yoga and English teacher it is her goal to provide her students with the tools that enable them to be part of that community and access their practice fully.
